Provincial Diagnostic Imaging (DI) Services provides a vast array of examinations to deliver the best possible service to the PEI patient population.

Imaging services are provided for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients.


How to access this service:
All patients must have a requisition completed by a referring physician. The only exception is for screening mammograms.  A booked appointment will be sent to the patient for diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds. 

General x-rays do not require a booked appointment.  All diagnostic imaging departments are open 8:00 am - 4:00 pm for general x-rays.
