WHAT WE DO
The Fiscal Planning/Analysis and Audit section provides financial planning and analysis services with respect to program spending, revenue and budgetary requirements for Health PEI. These services ensure that reliable and sufficient information is available for program planning, reporting and analysis purposes. This section works closely with Program Directors and Managers to provide assistance and advice relating to budgetary, financial and administrative matters on programs, projects and services. Additional responsibilities related to internal audit are also included within this section.

WHAT WE DO
This section is responsible for the overall financial and payroll administration for Health PEI. Included in the financial area are the responsibilities for administration of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, budgetary administration and management including the delivery of management information to assist in the delivery of programs, projects and services. The section is also responsible for the delivery of payroll services for the entire Health PEI and the management of Medicare Services in Montague.

This section is responsible for procurement services and inventory management for the Health System. Included in the materials management area are the responsibilities for materials planning, sourcing contracts for goods, purchasing, warehousing and related distribution activities for over 130 internal cost centres at the two acute care hospitals and five community hospitals.
