Don't forget to complete your employee survey

September 29, 2011

Recently I invited you to take part in an upcoming Health PEI employee satisfaction survey.I would like to remind you that the survey will be available online and in a printable PDFdocument at http://www.healthpei.ca/staffsurvey2011 between October 3 and 14.

The survey is an important mechanism for leaders to get feedback from staff. It is voluntary, confidential and completely anonymous.

We have the results from 2007 and 2009 and we will be comparing this year’s results to see where we have made improvements and where we still have work to do. In the past, results of the surveys have been used to inform the development of new policies, to introduce training initiatives, and to make improvements within work units.

I encourage all staff to take part in this survey. We need your feedback in order to make changes. If we don’t know what your concerns or challenges are, we can’t address them. We would also like to hear about, and learn from, what is working well.

Survey results will be shared with Health PEI’s executive leadership team, directors and managers, then communicated to staff in the coming months.

Any employee who does not have computer access should contact their manager to obtain a hard copy of the survey available in PDF format. Completed hard copy versions should be sent by interoffice mail to Krista Paquet, Health Information Management division, Health PEI, 16 Garfield Street.

Please take a few moments to complete the survey when it is available. Your feedback is important to us.

For more information contact Glen Doyle, Director Human Resources at 368-6257 or grdoyle@gov.pe.ca
