What if I need emergency care?
If you or someone in your care has an urgent medical condition or is experiencing a health crisis, emergency services are available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Kings County Memorial Hospital, or you can call 9-1-1 for assistance.

When can I visit a patient?
Visitors play an important supportive role in meeting a patient’s needs during their care in hospital. General visiting hours and guidelines help balance a patient’s need for visitors and the health care team’s responsibility to provide timely treatments and procedures. At certain times, special temporary restrictions may be added to ensure the hospital is a safe environment for patients, visitors and the health care team.
Daily visiting hours are:
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
How can I donate?
The Kings County Memorial Hospital Foundation and Kings County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary are groups of community volunteers who fundraise, collect and utilize funds to benefit the health of residents in Eastern Prince Edward Island. Donations are used to purchase necessary medical equipment and resources to support and improve patient care and comfort.
