About Riverview Manor
Riverview Manor is a 49-bed long-term care facility located in Montague, Prince Edward Island.

One bed is used for respite care and 13 beds are managed within our designated dementia care program. Both private and double rooms are available to residents.

What is the admission process?
You or your loved one’s individual care needs will be evaluated through a standard health assessment.

Generally, there are three types of service:

  1. Short-term – for respite, to provide short- term relief to caregivers; or restorative, to provide the care required so the individual can return to their home and community.
  2. Long-term – for permanent care, however, individuals can be discharged if their condition improves and they so desire.
  3. Day residents – delivered by Home Care, individuals can come to the manor for services, as needed. For example: century tub baths, meals, day program, etc.

For further information on the assessment process, eligibility and cost, please visit Long-Term Care or contact the Long Term Care Admissions Coordinator by calling the Home Care Office at (902) 838-0786.
